16 people die as residential building collapses in Mumbai, India
At least 16 people have died and 24 others have been rescued after a residential building collapsed in Mumbai, India this morning making it the third building collapse in Mumbai in less than a month.
Rescue officials on site say at least 10 people are still trapped in the six-storey building located in the densely populated Bhendi Bazaar area which is believed to be about 100 years old.
Ambulances, fire engines and members of the disaster relief force are still working at the site.
