FG to use hotels, schools as quarantine, isolation centres

The Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, said the Federal Government would require hotels and school dormitories as quarantine and isolation centres because of a  shortage of hospital beds. He stated this on Thursday during the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing in Abuja. The minister noted that there were four levels of COVID-19 patients ranging from those on quarantine with zero or mild symptoms to those that would need to be in an intensive care unit. Ehanire said, “We have sadly recorded 254 deaths, most of them are persons associated with other ailments, confirming the general observation that risks are higher for those with illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and non-communicable diseases. We need to continue increasing bed capacity to match the probable number of patients so that we do not experience horrific scenes of bed space shortages seen in some European hospitals. “In event of overflow, we can require hotels and school dormitories to be prepared for level

Today is d day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Some years back, a wonderful bouncing baby girl was given birth to. She's no other person than this woman of God, Aya Rev'd Abegunde Adesina Ayodele, she's exactly the type of woman proverb 31 was talking about, she is worth far more than jewels. Mummy I celebrate you today. She's so loving, accommodating, very jovial, no dulling moment with her. I envy her spirit of entrepreneurship. Its so good working with you ma. Oluwa o this woman can think, when things looks very impossible she thinks of a way to make it possible. A very good leader. Mummy, God bless you for me, you will continue to shine. And finally the day is here, its Oct 5th, a day I have been waiting for, a day set aside to appreciate all teachers in the world. Its world teachers day. I personally want to testify to the impart this loving people had done in my life. With their help I could write and read. You are the president of a country today all thanks to a teacher, u r a doctor, lawyer, accountant, scientist name that profession, all thanks to a teacher. Teaching is the only profession that gives birth to all other profession. I thought I was strong but when I think about the kind of treatment given to our teachers, the thought always stole tears from my eyes, I wish I could do something. The little I could do is to appreciate them for their effort. Our parents are always concerned when school is on break because of how we will disturb them but I wonder how a teacher cope with the kids in school and then her own kids at home. Those I Will Arrest When I Become President – Fayose

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has said that those arresting people today will be arrested tomorrow. This followed his insistence that he will become Nigeria’s next president. Fayose, in a series of tweets on Thursday night, was reacting to the arrest of Toyin Ojo, his Commissioner for Finance. The Governor insinuated that some people in Aso Villa were using the security and anti-graft agencies to intimidate him. “The arrestors of today would be arrested tomorrow. “Those who gave [email protected] won’t be POTUS know better now. I want to be President of Nigeria, that’s what I will be. “They think they can use @officialEFCC to intimidate us, we are waiting. But tell the Villa hawks that last year, they used DSS, it failed. “They remembered bailout fund the moment I made it public that I was declaring for President. So, Ekiti was the only state that got bailout?,” Fayose tweeted.
