Cavani 'attacks' Neymar again



The rift between Edinson Cavani and Neymar is far from over according to fresh reports credited to football portal, El Pais.

It is understood that the Uruguayan and record-signing Neymar clearly don't see eye to eye after their recent rift over

penalty
and free-kick taking responsibilities unfolded, but it seems their first exchanges weren't much better.

According to El Pais, Cavani certainly made a shocking first impression on the Brazilian forward.

'And who is this? Do you think you're (Lionel) Messi?' the striker reportedly asked when Neymar first entered the dressing room.

Whether Cavani was joking or was intending insult upon the new arrival – for £198million – remains to be seen, but while Neymar was seemingly attempting a leap of faith out of the shadow of his former Barcelona team-mate, he probably didn't take it too well.

Flood forces Lagos police close Ahmadu Bello Way after heavy downpour

The Ahmadu Bello way in Victoria Island, Lagos State has been temporarily closed by Lagos State Police Command due to flooding. According to a statement by the Police, motorists plying the route and other areas prone to flood which has caused traffic grid lock in the state are advised to take alternative routes made available by the traffic officials. “We would like the public to note that the relevant traffic and security agencies are on ground to flush out the drains and thus secure road users in the state,” the statement said. The heavy down pour in the state has caused severe flooding in Victoria Island, Lekki and some other parts of the state.
