OPERATION BLESS YOUR TEACHERS





Have you ever think about your life? How you came about how to read and write? Do you remember those days when you do writing in nursery school and your teacher beat you just to make sure you get it correctly? Do you remember how the teacher struggle to make sure you understand the subject? Do you even care if such a teacher has his/her own problem yet he/she finds joy in teaching you, now you are a big man and woman but do you remember that teacher that did so much for you? You can read and write today, all thanks to those teacher figures. You are who you are today, thanks to them. Do you even remember their faces, hope you are not saying at least I pay school fees, yes you did, but what you paid for, was it worth what was given to you?

It saddens my heart that teachers who ought to be collecting high salaries more than our political leaders are just collecting a stipend, enough of the epistle, am not write this to change your heart but can you think back to how it all started.

I have given it a thought and I realise I must appreciate my dear teachers for their care and knowledge they gave to me, that's why I have decide to join OBLEST INITIATIVE (Operation BLESs your Teachers), an organization that sees the need for teachers appreciation and empowerment (training). You all agree with me that, if a teacher is happy, the student will be happy to learn under such teacher and the whole school will be happy.
