UEFA CL: Manchester United off to Lisbon

After extending their unbeaten start to the season in all competitions on Saturday, with a hard-fought draw at Anfield in the Premier League, Manchester United who have now gone eight games without defeat in the league and having won the previous two Champions League outings this term, Jose Mourinho's men will be confident going into the clash at Benfica's Estadio da Luz on Wednesday night. The team on Monday departed Manchester for Lisbon as confirmed by the club on its official Twitter handle. Convincing wins against Basel and CSKA Moscow in the opening fixtures mean United can all but secure a place in the knock-out rounds with a win in Lisbon, while the Eagles will be looking to get their first points on the board in Group A, having lost both of their opening matches. Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic still remain sidelined and while Marcos Rojo is still working his way back to full fitness, the Argentina defender was part of the travelling squad to Lisbon. Un

‘You’re very stupid’ -Gov. Rochas tells Rochas Sharing a photo of Gov. Nyesom Wike who was pictured earlier today with Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, social activist, J.J Omojuwa asked Gov. Rochas when they’ll be getting their own statues. The Governor who has been under fire lately over President Jacob Zuma’s statue he unveiled last weekend, however had a quick reply for him. Today is d day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Some years back, a wonderful bouncing baby girl was given birth to. She's no other person than this woman of God, Aya Rev'd Abegunde Adesina Ayodele, she's exactly the type of woman proverb 31 was talking about, she is worth far more than jewels. Mummy I celebrate you today. She's so loving, accommodating, very jovial, no dulling moment with her. I envy her spirit of entrepreneurship. Its so good working with you ma. Oluwa o this woman can think, when things looks very impossible she thinks of a way to make it possible. A very good leader. Mummy, God bless you for me, you will continue to shine. Your life has been a blessing to a lot and for that I say a big God bless you. Happy birthday to you mami. I wish you longest life and prosperity in good health, wisdom, wealth, peace. God will lift you high. I know of some of your expectations and I pray may God surprise you. You are the best.

OCT 5... WORLD TEACHERS DAY

And finally the day is here, its Oct 5th, a day I have been waiting for, a day set aside to appreciate all teachers in the world. Its world teachers day. I personally want to testify to the impart this loving people had done in my life. With their help I could write and read. You are the president of a country today all thanks to a teacher, u r a doctor, lawyer, accountant, scientist name that profession, all thanks to a teacher. Teaching is the only profession that gives birth to all other profession. I thought I was strong but when I think about the kind of treatment given to our teachers, the thought always stole tears from my eyes, I wish I could do something. The little I could do is to appreciate them for their effort. Our parents are always concerned when school is on break because of how we will disturb them but I wonder how a teacher cope with the kids in school and then her own kids at home.
