Man Utd, Arsenal top list of most successful clubs in England (See top 20)

- Manchester United are the most successful club in England ahead of Liverpool
- United won the Europa League and League Cup last season under Jose Mourinho
- Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Aston Villa are among England's most successful clubs
Liverpool have now be overtaken as the most successful club in England after Manchester United won the League Cup and Europa League last season.
The Red Devils have won 42 major titles one ahead of the Anfield side who have 41 in total.

Manchester United's dominance in the English football for last two decades aided their trophy haul winning 13 league titles, 2 Champions League and a few other domestic crowns.
The only major trophies on this list are Division 1 titles, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, UEFA Cup and FIFA Club World Cup).
