Manchester United are keeping tabs on Leander Dendoncker with a view to a summer bid to sign the Anderlecht midfielder, according to reports in Belgium.

Belgian outlet De Morgen, as quoted by Metro, is claiming that Manchester United sent a scout to watch Dendoncker in action in Anderlecht’s opening game of the new season against Antwerp on Friday night.
The same report claims that AC Milan and RB Leipzig are also keeping tabs on the 22-year-old midfielder this summer, however.
The story also says that Anderlecht are keen to keep hold of Dendoncker and have priced the Belgian at around £34m.
Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a new holding midfielder this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his second season in charge at the club.
The Red Devils have been linked with a whole host of players so far this summer but have only completed deals to land defender Victor Lindelof and striker Romelu Lukaku so far.
Manchester United are gearing up for a return to the Champions League next season after they won the Europa League in Mourinho’s first campaign in charge.
The club’s fans will remember Dendoncker scored a late goal against the Red Devils in a 1-1 draw in Belgium in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.
